Maruti Suzuki India Ltd, India’s largest Passenger Vehicles (PV) company in July 2026 reported wholesales of a total of 241,421 units, up 34% YoY including domestic sales of 200,123 units, up 42% YoY.

Passenger car wholesales grew 42% YoY to 103,456 units while Utility Vehicles (UV) sales surged 49% to 78,851 units.

The sales to other OEM [Toyota Kirloskar Motor] were at 11,242 units, up 37% YoY and exports were at 30,056 units, down 5% YoY.

Hyundai Motor India Ltd in July 2026 reported total sales of 75,360 up, 25.4% YoY, it’s highest ever monthly volume since inception. It includes domestic sales of 54,210 units up 23.3% YoY and exports of 21,150 units, up 31.4% YoY.

During the month HMIL achieved its highest-ever monthly export sales in over 100 months, the company said. Hyundai Creta clocked highest monthly sales for CY26 with 18,088 units in July 2026.

Tarun Garg, MD & CEO, HMIL, said, “We have kicked off the new quarter on a strong note. Achieving 75,360 total sales, up 25.4% YoY, our highest-ever monthly volume since inception, underscores the immense trust consumers place in brand Hyundai.”

Tata Motors Passenger Vehicles Ltd. (TMPV) recorded sales of 63,760 units in the domestic and international markets in July 2026, compared to 40,175 units in July 2025, up 59% YoY.

This was achieved despite temporary production disruptions at the Sanand facility due to “unprecedented rainfall and flooding”, the company said.

In Electric Vehicles (EVs) the company crossed 15,000 EV wholesales in a month for the first time, alongside record-high Vahan registrations.

Punch recorded its highest-ever monthly sales, reinforcing its position as one of India’s best sold models.

Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd. (M&M) reported overall auto sales of 1,03,860 units [SUVs, LCVs (<3.5T), 3-wheelers] including exports, up 26% YoY.

In the Utility Vehicles segment, Mahindra sold 60,048 vehicles in the domestic market, a growth of 20% and overall, 60,887 vehicles, including exports.

The domestic sales for Commercial Vehicles stood at 25,204, a growth of 23%.

The sales included the ones made by subsidiaries Mahindra Electric Automobile Ltd and Mahindra Last Mile Mobility Ltd.

Toyota Kirloskar Motor (TKM) in July 2026 reported wholesales of 32,516 units including domestic volume of 30,516 units cup 5% YoY.

Kia India at wholesales of 28,200 units registered 27.4% YoY growth.

Building on our record H1 performance, we have maintained healthy momentum across key segments”,” said Atul Sood, Senior Vice President – Sales & Marketing, Kia India.
