The death toll in Gaza since dawn has risen to at least seven people, the Palestinian Ministry of Health has announced.

They include two Palestinians killed by an Israeli drone strike that targeted the rooftop of a house in the al-Reis neighbourhood of Gaza City, a spokesman for Gaza's civil defence agency told AFP.

The attacks come just a day after Hamas formally agreed to a peace agreement aimed at implementing the next phases of the Gaza ceasefire that was drafted by US President Donald Trump's Board of Peace.
