As of 17:30 on Monday, July 20, 17 people, including a child, had been injured in the Kherson region as a result of Russian aggression.

The Kherson Regional Prosecutor's Office stated on Telegram, Ukrinform reports.

A pretrial investigation has been launched into war crimes under Part 1 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.

According to investigators, throughout July 20, the Russian army shelled settlements in the Kherson region with artillery and mortars and attacked them with drones.

As of 17:30, it had been confirmed that 17 residents were injured as a result of Russian aggression.

During the day, Russians shelled one of Kherson's hospitals with artillery. Seven people were injured — medical staff and a visitor to the facility.

Earlier, a 17-year-old girl and another local woman were injured as a result of artillery shelling.

Another eight people were injured in the regional center, Molodizhne, and Khreshchenivka as a result of attacks by Russian drones. Among them are people in serious condition.

Private and apartment buildings, hospital premises, a shop, and vehicles were damaged.

As Ukrinform reported, in the Kherson suburb of Molodizhne on July 20, two energy workers came under enemy fire while performing work on the street.
