According to Ukrinform, Maksym Shkil, the founder of the “Autostrada” group of companies, reported this on Facebook.

“Last night, a ballistic missile and a cruise missile struck the ‘Autostrada’ production facility in Kyiv,” Shkil said.

"The worst part is that two of our colleagues were killed: concrete mixer driver Roman Trokhymets and forklift driver Ruslan Hrenchak. Another colleague of ours—forklift operator Yuriy Oliynyk—was injured. He is currently in the hospital, where he is receiving the necessary medical care. Fortunately, his life is no longer in danger," Shkil added.

According to him, the facility’s employees promptly provided first aid to the injured and managed to contain the fire that broke out after the strike on their own. Thanks to this, they were able to prevent the fire from spreading to production facilities and avoid even more casualties.

As Shkil reported, the strike destroyed and damaged more than 20 pieces of equipment, a concrete plant, the “Autostrada” vehicle repair service center (which was virtually destroyed), production facilities, a laboratory complex, and the employees’ residential complex.

As reported by Ukrinform, nine people were killed and 33 injured as a result of the Russian attack on Kyiv on the night of August 1.
