Rakesh Hira Singh Pawar, a student of Sharanabasaveshwara Residential Composite PU College, Kalaburagi, has brought laurels to Yadgir district by securing impressive ranks in national-level competitive examinations.

Hailing from Soudhagra Tanda in Hattikuni, Yadgir district, Rakesh secured AIR 6,743 in JEE Advanced 2026 (SC category), AIR 28,021 in NEET 2026, and State Rank 1,446 in the Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) Agriculture Entrance Examination.

Coming from a modest background, Rakesh attributed his success to the unwavering support and sacrifices of his parents, Sunita and Heera Singh Pawar, who encouraged him to pursue higher education. His elder brother is currently pursuing MBBS in Kalaburagi.

College authorities congratulated Rakesh on his achievement, describing it as a testament to his hard work and determination.
