TACLOBAN CITY – For years, residents of Barugo, Leyte have relied on a small 10-bed public hospital that also serves patients from neighboring towns, stretching its limited resources. Local officials believe that burden will soon ease after the SM Foundation donated a P4-million wellness hub that will bring primary healthcare services closer to thousands of residents, particularly children and senior citizens.
