The model and rapper Amber Rose is suing a Beverly Hills social club alleging that a giant holiday ornament crashed onto her head during a New Year's Eve celebration, leaving her with lasting injuries that she says have upended her life.
The suit, filed by Amber Rose Levonchuck in Santa Monica Superior Court against Gravitas, alleges the Dec. 31, 2024, incident caused serious physical and emotional injuries, lost income and left her struggling to work and drive. The complaint also names the company that allegedly installed the club's holiday decorations.
According to the lawsuit, the SlutWalk founder was sitting in a booth at the Camden Drive club when a large spherical ornament hanging from the ceiling suddenly broke loose and struck her in the head.
Rose last made headlines in 2024 when she controversially declared her support for Donald Trump’s presidential campaign and even spoke at the Republican National Convention in Milwaukee.

The complaint says she was immediately dazed and suffered a brief loss of consciousness, along with headaches, dizziness, blurred vision, nausea, confusion and neck pain. She was later taken to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center for emergency treatment.
The lawsuit alleges her health has not recovered. Levonchuck says she continues to suffer chronic headaches, vertigo, balance problems, blurred vision, neck pain, memory and concentration difficulties, disrupted sleep, anxiety, fatigue and emotional distress that have significantly affected her daily life.
The complaint argues that hanging a heavy decorative object above customers created a "concealed and unreasonable risk of serious injury" unless it was properly designed, secured, inspected and fitted with appropriate backup restraints.

Levonchuck is seeking unspecified damages for medical expenses, lost earnings, pain and suffering, and emotional distress.
A representative for Gravitas did not immediately respond to a request for comment on the allegations. The claims have not been tested in court.
