Watch: “We were told not to attack”: Trump says Gulf allies urged U.S. to halt Iran strikes

President Donald Trump said the U.S. had prepared what he described as “the biggest attack since World War II” against Iran but decided to call it off after appeals from Gulf allies. He said diplomacy was given more time, even as Iran denied requesting the U.S. to halt the planned strikes and said mediation efforts are still underway.
