Rabin Angeles, Angela Muji not rushing to define relationship amid dating rumors

Rabin Angeles and Angela Muji said they are in no rush to put a label on their relationship, saying they are happy with where they are now and would rather let things develop naturally.

The two addressed the status of their relationship during the midseason press conference for the Viva One series “Dating Alys Perez,” where they were asked about their closeness.

“We’re just happy. Masaya po kami with what we have,” Muji said. “For us, we don’t have to define it. Kasi we’re okay with this as of the moment. Hindi po kami nagmamadali into things.”

“We’ll just let it unfold naturally. Kung darating po yun, darating po siya. And I think, yun yung nakakawala ng pressure sa amin kasi hindi po namin siya pina-force,” added the actress.

Muji explained that they are prioritizing their careers and supporting their families before thinking about taking their relationship to the next level.

“We just really want to focus on our craft for now. Parang we think of it this way, mag-work muna tayo for our families. And then after that, once parang ma-reach na natin kung ano yung goal natin for ourselves, maybe then we can focus on us,” she said.

Angeles echoed Muji’s sentiments, saying they are content to let things happen in their own time.

“Ang dami pong nabago sa akin si Angela. Napapahaba niya ‘yung pasensya ko. Ang dami po niya tinuturo sa akin, pati po yung pag-i-English ko dito sa Dating Alys Perez. Tinuturuan niya po ako,” he said.

Muji, meanwhile, said she learned from Angeles to be more outgoing and approachable.

“I always say this na naturuan po ako ni Rabin makisama sa mga tao kasi medyo mahiyain po kasi ako sa una. So, hindi pala maganda tignan, hindi ako masyadong nakikipag-usap sa mga tao. Nami-misinterpret po yun. So mayroon akong things na pick up from him na I know would affect my life positively,” she said.

Directed by Crisanto B. Aquino, “Dating Alys” Perez stars Muji as Alys Perez, who finds herself torn between her current boyfriend Tripp Palma (Zeke Polina) and her former love Drake Palma (Angeles), who reenters her life determined to win her back.

The Viva One adaptation of Beeyotch’s popular Wattpad novel premiered on June 12 and is set to stream until August. /*edv *
