Emma uses two types of weapons in Beast of Reincarnation. She can fight from afar with the bow and the crossbow, or jump into action wielding a sword. While the list of ranged options isn't long, there are many different blades Emma can use, each with different stats and abilities.
To help you expand your arsenal, we've prepared this guide with the weapon locations in Beast of Reincarnation. Note that this guide is a work-in-progress, as we're still finding all the weapons in the game. We'll update this guide with more weapons as we find them.
Beast of Reincarnation melee and ranged weapons, explained
When exploring the zones and fighting the Nushi, you can use one sword, the bow, and the Spring Thunder Crossbow. The two ranged weapons require different ammo (arrows for the bow and bolts for the crossbow), and you can carry three different types of each. Depending on the enemy you're facing, you might want to prepare before committing to fight them. You can swap swords, arrows, and bolts outside of battle in the menu.
Every sword in the game features an ability that triggers whenever you effectively parry an attack. There are three tiers of upgrades, each increasing the skill's power, and to unlock the last two, you will need to collect generator devices to raise Bauera's power rank. On the other hand, you will need to raise Bauer's knowledge level with memory chips to unlock some of the upgrades for your ranged weapons.
Emma's bow and crossbow are only useful while you have ammo for them. Bolts and arrows are replenished whenever you rest in a camp if you own their manuals. It's also possible to collect arrows and bolts from enemies' corpses.
Weapon locations in Beast of Reincarnation
The list below contains only the weapons you can either find or buy from NPCs. We haven't included Emma's initial set of weapons — Mechblade (Standard), the Purifier Blade, and her Spring Thunder Crossbow — since you start the game with them in your inventory. On the other hand, all the ones you find during the main quest are part of this list, so you know when to expect to find a new weapon.
For the weapons sold by NPCs, we listed the zone you must reach to find the first merchant selling the weapon. Once you've completed that zone, Brad starts selling these weapons in the cleanse walker.
We'll update this guide as we find more weapons.
