Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner's daughter Violet made a rare mask-free appearance in Los Angeles over the weekend while enjoying her summer break from college.

The 20-year-old undergraduate student, who is a rising junior at Yale University, was the spitting image of her mother while enjoying a solo stroll.

Violet - who previously called for the return of Covid-19 mask mandates - carried her face mask in her hand rather than wearing it during her walk.

For her Sunday excursion, Violet embraced the warm Southern California weather in a colorful ensemble, showing off what appeared to be a chic new summer bob haircut.

Her hair appeared to have been recently cut into a chic summer bob, and she sported a flowing, minidress while enjoying the warm weather in southern California.

Her outing comes shortly after she traveled from New Haven to Los Angeles for the summer before starting the upcoming fall semester - and following the death of her paternal grandmother.

In recent years, Violet has been an outspoken advocate on public health issues and has been continuing her grandmother's legacy of activism.

The college student had previously voiced her concerns about mask mandates and directly reached out to lawmakers and public officials herself.

In 2024, she pushed back against mask bans in response to the COVID-19 pandemic.

The following year, Violet also addressed the United Nations to call on world leaders and argue against accepting continual infections of the airborne disease.

Her latest outing comes after her father's mother, Christopher Anne 'Chris' Boldt, died at age 83 on June 2 after a battle with pancreatic cancer.

She was a Harvard graduate, civil rights activist and public school teacher.

She is survived by her two sons, Affleck, 53, and his younger brother Casey, 50, as well as the Batman star's three children and Casey's two kids, Indiana and Atticus.

Violet is the eldest of the three children shared by Affleck and Garner.

The former couple, who were married for 10 years before their 2015 split and their divorce was officially finalized in 2018, are also parents to Fin, 17, and Samuel, 14.

Prior to Violet's solo morning walk, Garner, 54, and her mini-me daughter stepped out together in Los Angeles to catch up over a casual lunch outing.

During this time, a source close to the family recently reported that Affleck and his younger brother have been taking their loss 'really hard' and are grateful for their kids.

'Losing your mom is an unimaginable loss at any age, and they're grieving deeply,' a source told People just shortly after the family lost their beloved matriarch.

The insider added that Affleck and Casey are 'surrounded by an incredible support system.'

'The family is leaning on one another, and they'll get through it together,' the source continued, noting that the two brothers have been leaning on their children during the difficult time.
