MANILA, Philippines — The presidential race between Vice President Sara Duterte and Naga City Mayor Leni Robredo had grown closer in the second quarter of 2026, with Duterte leading only nine points, an Octa Research survey said. According to the Tugon ng Masa nationwide survey released on Wednesday, Duterte remained the most preferred candidate at 43 percent in the two-candidate May 2028 hypothetical presidential elections, while support for Robredo stood at 34 percent.
