Report: US closer to Iran deal to reopen Strait of Hormuz, restore truce

The US, Iran and Oman are getting closer to an interim deal aimed at reopening the strategic Strait of Hormuz as well as restoring the ceasefire between Washington and Tehran, Axios reported.

According to the news site, the announcement of the pact is expected as early as Wednesday.
