Reina Filipinas candidates cheer each other in swimsuit video reveal
They may be competing with one another in the same pageant, but the Reina Filipinas candidates showed how they have already developed a deep bond as they cheered for one another when they watched their swimsuit video for the first time.
Gathered together at the Jojo Bragais Studio in Quezon City on Monday, Aug. 3, the 21 aspirants took a break from their “Live Selling” Challenge to huddle in front of a screen for a group viewing of the video.
As the video clips showed them posing in groups, and individually engaging the camera, the candidates screamed and applauded in admiration of one another’s performance.

The videos were captured during the same session where the swimsuit portraits released earlier were taken, with ace lensman Mark Neto Diaz behind the camera. Reina Filipinas also released the individual reaction clips of the candidates on their photos.
They wore the same two-piece swimsuits in gold lamé fabric from Pegarro Swim by designer Julius Pegarro, and the Jojo Bragais “All Star” heels in gold, for both the portraits and videos.
Jun Morden, the same man behind the recent fashion videos produced by Jojo Bragais Shoes for the various pageants it has partnered with, also went behind the camera for the Reina Filipinas swimsuit showcase video.
Reina Filipinas will choose the Philippines’ official delegate to the 2026 Miss Grand International pageant in India in October. Two more winners will be sent to the second edition of MGI All Stars in Thailand in December.
The Grand Coronation Night will be held at the Newport Performing Arts Theater of Newport World Resorts in Pasay City on Friday, Aug. 7. Beauty queens Joy Barcoma, Fuschia Anne Ravena and Gazini Ganados will host, together with Sean Kyle Ortega.
