How to solve the 4166 1899 puzzle in Big Walk

To solve the 4166 1899 puzzle in Big Walk, you'll need to essentially go across the map, as the numbers on the sign are actually coordinates. If this is your first time seeing coordinates in Big Walk, we first recommend completing the red tower, as it'll unlock a map. Then, using the latitude (Y-axis on the map) and longitude (X-axis on the map), pinpoint the coordinates (4166, 1899), which will lead you to a rock.

Before you start the trek, there are a few gadgets and tools that will be very helpful for the job.

  • **Map**: The map is found in a circular room by the spawn, which is unlocked after you complete the red tower and use its key. The map is great to have on hand, so you can pinpoint the coordinates and prevent yourself from getting lost.

  • **Walkie-talkies**: These can be found on the**hill southeast of the red tower**. They are particularly useful as you can remind your forgetful partner of the coordinates and let them know when you've grabbed the red gourd from the box.

  • **GPS (optional)**: This is located just**southeast of the green tower and beside the ski lift station**. It's actually fairly close to the button, so it’s not completely necessary, but it will help you pinpoint the button's location. There will be a light blue box that has two four-digit numbers on it. The**top number will show your current latitude**, while the**bottom number will show you your current longitude**. You can carry this until you reach the coordinates (4166, 1899), which is where you'll find the button.

If you only have two people, the map will be your main priority, as you can really only use one item at a time when you're by yourself. However, you can equip a walkie-talkie to your backpack and have your waiting friend repeatedly remind you of the coordinates and tell you when they have the red gourd.

To open the box, at least one of you or your friends have to go to (4166, 1899) on the island, where you'll find a button that opens the box with the red gourd. It'll be on a conjoined rock on a hill, just south of a puzzle inside a green ring where you need to count faces on a myriad of monitors.

If you find this counting puzzle, look away from the wall with the red gourd prize, and head up the hill until you hit the side of the mountain. Try to get as high up the hill as you can, and then turn around. The button will be on the side of a conjoined rock. Make sure to hold the button, as the box is only open for as long as you press the button. Then, the waiting partner can grab the red gourd, and if you have the walkie-talkies, let the others know that you retrieved it.
