MOSCOW, August 6. /TASS/. Plans are in place to sign 380 agreements worth 6.5 trillion rubles ($79.9 bln) at the Eastern Economic Forum (EEF) this year, Russian Deputy Prime Minister, Presidential Plenipotentiary in the Far Eastern Federal District Yury Trutnev said.
"For 2026, we have set a goal of signing a larger number of agreements of 380 worth 6.5 trillion rubles," he said at a meeting with President Vladimir Putin.
Last year, the forum helped attract 6.1 trillion rubles in investment, the official added.
The Eastern Economic Forum will be held September 1-4 in Vladivostok on the campus of the Far Eastern Federal University. The main theme of this year’s EEF is "The Far East: Development for the Benefit of People." The event is organized by the Roscongress Foundation with the support of the Russian government.
