New Zealand Air Force rescues six people from rough waters near Fiji
The New Zealand Air Force has rescued six people from rough waters near Fiji.
Local authorities asked an Air Force Poseidon crew for help finding a small vessel, which had failed to reach Fulaga on Thursday.
After a six hour search, the Poseidon crew found the vessel about 27 kilometres from Vanuavatu Island on Friday night.
The six people were taken to Suva for medical assessment before being reunited with their families and loved ones.
