Gilas Youth lineup for Fiba U18 Asia Cup revealed

MANILA, Philippines–The Samahang Basketbol ng Pilipinas (SBP) on Wednesday revealed the 12 players who will represent Gilas Pilipinas Youth in the 2026 Fiba U18 Asia Cup in India.

Uprising swingman Chog Moral headlines the squad alongside mainstays Ethan Aguas, Andrew Chio, Pat Pasinos and Bruce Tubongbanua.

Far Eastern University cogs JB Cagurungan and Prince Carino will also join the fray, along with 6-foot-7 Filipino-American Elias Gish.

Gilas Youth also added size with 6-foot-7 Ateneo big man Jacob Lacson.

Rounding out the 12-man lineup are Aidan Dayco-Green, Sizco Roquid and Luke Atacador.

Notably absent from the lineup is Seaba Qualifiers MVP Joaquin Tovera, who is currently with the La Salle Green Archers in preparation for UAAP Season 88.

Gilas Youth is aiming for a spot in the 2027 Fiba U19 World Cup in Pardubice, Czech Republic.

The Philippines is grouped with Australia, Chinese Taipei and Thailand in Group B, with the tournament beginning Thursday.
