The song is called Så länge som mitt hjärta slår, or "so long as my heart is still beating", and will be released on Friday, two days after she performs with Åkesson at the party's election meeting in Gothenburg. 

Fröken Snusk, whose names translates as "Miss Sleazy", revealed the existence of the song in a video released on TikTok on Monday, saying as she posed sexily, "on Friday, Jimmie and I are releasing a magical song. Are you looking forward to it as much as I am?"

Snusk, the creation of the music presenter Rasmus Gozzi, has so far been played by three separate women, only the second of whom – the singer Felicia Eriksson – has gone public. She reached number one in Sweden twice in 2022 with the songs Rid mig som en dalahäst ("Ride me like a Dalarna horse") and Unga och fria ("Young and free"), and took part in the Melodifestivalen song contest in 2014. 

Snusk will perform the band as a guest artist alongside Åkezzonz, a band Åkesson has created for the election campaign in the style of the touring Dansband genre popular of rural Sweden. Åkesson has long played keyboards for the nationalist band Bedårande Barn.

Gozzi told Aftonbladet that he and Snusk had decided to record the song to create a "more open climate in society".

The Karl-Oskardagarna festival on Sunday cancelled a booking for Fröken Snusk after learning of her planned appearance with Åkesson, saying it wanted to "safeguard the festival's political independence".

Åkesson on Sunday protested the decision with a post on X, pointing out that the leftwing rapper was performing at the festival despite the fact that she had called on the audience to "go sharpen the knife and send the pig to the slaughter" in a song about the Sweden Democrats. He also said that Cimberly had performed before Magdalena Andersson's May 1st speech.

"How can Fröken Snusk's guest appearance be so politically loaded that she must be cancelled—while the left-wing activists Silvana Imam and Cimberly are not seen as affecting the festival's "political independence" at all," he wrote.

"Does the requirement for "political independence" apply to everyone—or just artists associated with the SD?"

"For the sake of clarity," he added. "I don't think Stenström, Imam, or Cimberly should be canceled. Quite the opposite. Even artists that many people, like me, find downright pathetic in their self-imposed role of moral superiority and with their parroting of rehearsed left-wing platitudes, should be able to take the stage in Sweden. But surely there must be some limit to the hypocrisy and the double standards?"

The creation of Åkezzonz and the partnership with Snusk are in character with an unusually light-hearted election campaign from the Sweden Democrats, which begun with Åkesson and leading Sweden Democrats doing an election tour on a luxury motorboat down the Göta Canal.
