Actor-politician Nandamuri Balakrishna sustained a minor leg injury while shooting for his upcoming film, tentatively titled NBK111, at Kakinada Port in Andhra Pradesh. Following the incident, members of the Nandamuri family, including Jr NTR and Nandamuri Kalyan Ram, took to social media to wish the actor a speedy recovery.
The injury occurred during the filming of a high-voltage action sequence featuring Balakrishna and actor Manchu Manoj. According to reports, the actor slipped while performing a stunt and hurt his leg. The shoot was immediately halted, and Balakrishna was rushed to a nearby hospital in Kakinada for medical attention.
After undergoing scans and examinations, doctors reportedly diagnosed him with a minor muscle tear. The film's team later confirmed that Balakrishna would undergo a minor surgical procedure as advised by medical experts and assured fans that there was no cause for concern.
Soon after news of the injury surfaced, Jr NTR shared a message on X and wrote, "Get well soon Bala Babai (Uncle). Wishing you a speedy recovery and good health. Looking forward to seeing you roar back in full form..."
Nandamuri Kalyan Ram also expressed his concern and support for the veteran actor. In a post on X, he wrote, "Get well soon Babai. Wishing you a speedy recovery. I'm sure you will be back in action in no time, doing what you love the most."
In an official statement, the makers of NBK111 said, "During the filming of an intense action sequence for #NBK111 in Kakinada, Nandamuri Balakrishna Garu sustained a minor muscle tear. As advised by the medical team, he will undergo a minor surgical procedure to ensure a swift and complete recovery."
The statement further added, "The procedure is routine and there is absolutely no cause for concern. We wish him a speedy recovery and look forward to welcoming him back to the sets very soon."

Directed by Gopichand Malineni, NBK111 marks the filmmaker's second collaboration with Balakrishna after the success of Veera Simha Reddy. The film stars Manchu Manoj as the antagonist and Kajal Aggarwal as the female lead. The project is currently being filmed in and around Kakinada, with the action sequence reportedly being a crucial confrontation between Balakrishna and Manoj's characters.
