Oppo’s next flagship lineup may be shaping up a little differently than expected. A fresh leak suggests the company has revised its plans for the Find X10 series, with the biggest surprise being the arrival of a new Find X10 Pro Max model. While there is still no clarity on whether the Oppo Find X10 Ultra has been cancelled and replaced by the Find X10 Pro Max, the latest information indicates that the Pro Max could become the top-end flagship in the lineup. The leak also points to changes in display sizes, chipsets and the overall positioning of the upcoming models.

What we know about Oppo Find X10 Pro Max

According to tipster Digital Chat Station, the Oppo Find X10 Pro Max is now expected to feature a 6.78-inch flat display with 1.5K resolution instead of the previously rumoured 6.89-inch 2K panel. The display is also said to feature ultra-narrow symmetrical bezels, made possible by LIPO (Low-Injection Pressure Overmolding) packaging technology. While the display resolution appears to have been reduced, the slimmer bezels and slightly smaller screen could make the phone more comfortable to use without significantly affecting the viewing experience.

Under the hood, the handset is tipped to be powered by MediaTek's upcoming 2nm Dimensity 9600 Pro chipset. On the camera front, Oppo could be preparing something even more ambitious. The Find X10 Pro Max is rumoured to feature a Samsung HPC 200-megapixel primary camera, accompanied by a 200-megapixel ultra-wide sensor and a 200-megapixel periscope telephoto camera. If this leak turns out to be accurate, it could become one of the first smartphones to offer a triple 200MP rear camera setup.

Other Find X10 models also get an upgrade

The leak also reveals details about the rest of the Find X10 family. The standard Oppo Find X10 is expected to feature a 6.59-inch 1.5K display and run on the Dimensity 9600 Lite chipset, which is said to be an overclocked version of the current Dimensity 9500 processor.

The Oppo Find X10 Pro, meanwhile, is tipped to retain a larger 6.78-inch 1.5K display while also using the more powerful Dimensity 9600 Pro chipset, bringing flagship-level performance to the model.

Interestingly, Oppo is also said to be evaluating another compact smartphone with a 6.59-inch display powered by a different Dimensity 9-series processor. However, it is still unclear whether this model will eventually make it to market.

As with most early leaks, none of these specifications have been officially confirmed. More details about the final Find X10 lineup are expected to emerge in the coming months.
