Barnes & Noble has officially launched its annual Book Haul sale. The deals began earlier this week for members only, but now the sale has opened up to everyone. The discounts include up to 50% off hardcover books, 25% off LEGO sets, and 50% off select Blu-rays.

The Book Haul sale runs until September 7, both in stores and online. I've gathered some of the highlights from the sale, but I recommend diving right in and browsing for yourself. It's as good a reason as any to visit your local Barnes & Noble location and just mill about.

Up to 50% Off Hardcovers

The discounts on hardcover books are always the highlight of Barnes & Noble's sale, and there's some pretty good deals going on this time around. First up there's Dan Brown's The Secret of Secrets, which was just released last year. This isn't the best price we've ever seen on this book, but it's the best price you'll find right now. Like all of Dan Brown's Robert Langdon books, you don't need to read the previous entries to understand what's going on.

A number of popular romantasy books are also included in the sale, but I've only featured book two in Callie Hart's Fae and Alchemy series. This is the deluxe limited edition that's definitely worth adding to your collection if you haven't already. If you're a fan of the Dresden Files, I'd also recommend checking out Jim Butcher's latest book, which came out almost six years after the previous entry.

Buy 1, Get 1 50% Off Exclusive Editions

Barnes & Noble's hardcover collectible editions are exclusive to the store, so any discount is noteworthy. This is the same sale we've seen before, and it's a great way to get a couple of classic books for your shelf at a discount. It's a buy one, get one 50% off sale, so you will need to purchase two books to take advantage of the savings.

I've ordered some of the collectible editions by overall coolness, with Homer's The Iliad & The Odyssey at the front. With Christopher Nolan's take on the epic poem still dominating IMAX theaters, this ancient story is more relevant than it's been in years. For general reading I'd recommend checking out the complete Sherlock Holmes collection, which includes all of Arthur Conan Doyle's tales of the iconic detective. There's also Frank Herbert's Dune with an incredible cover. If you haven't already read the Dune books, there's still time to dive in before Dune: Part 3 hits theaters later this year.

$50 Off Nook Reading Tablets

If you prefer reading ebooks over physical copies, now is also a good time to pick up a Nook. These are the official Barnes & Noble reading tablets that are comparable to Amazon's latest Kindle devices. With current discounts, you can grab one for as little as $99.

25% Off Select LEGO Sets

Barnes & Noble sells a number of popular LEGO sets, including some of the newer sets for 2026. This sale does not include any of the newer sets, though, and is pretty limited to just playsets for younger kids. There are some discounts on Disney sets for kids worth checking out, but if you're looking for the best LEGO deals of the year, you won't find them in this sale.
