Ukraine's sanctions policy commissioner Vladyslav Vlasiuk said this in a comment to Ukrinform.
"Over the past few weeks, our partners – the United Kingdom, the EU, Canada, New Zealand and Switzerland – have adopted new sanctions decisions. What is important is that Britain has expanded restrictions on the financial and energy sectors in its latest package," Vlasiuk said.
Among those sanctioned was Ozon Bank, whose app has already been removed from Google Play. The list of foreign companies also includes India's Frion Ship Management LLP, which facilitated the transfer of the Arctic Express gas carrier to Russia.
A number of other banks, defense industry enterprises and shadow fleet vessels were also subjected to restrictions.

"At the same time, the European Union imposed personal sanctions on executives of plants producing systems for Iskander-M and Sarmat missiles. Switzerland added top management of Rostec and the United Shipbuilding Corporation to its sanctions lists," the commissioner said.
According to Vlasiuk, Canada blocked the operations of Streit Group, an armored vehicle manufacturer whose equipment is used by Russia's National Guard, while New Zealand, in its 36th sanctions package, imposed restrictions on cyber entities involved in the deportation of Ukrainian children, as well as entities in Iran and North Korea that support the Kremlin in continuing its war against Ukraine.
Vlasiuk thanked Ukraine's partners for their constructive cooperation.
"Our main task now is to deny the enemy time to adapt. We are already analyzing where exactly the Russians will try to relocate their new financial and logistics chains so that we can promptly provide our partners with information for the next sanctions packages," he said.
On August 12, Switzerland's State Secretariat for Economic Affairs (SECO) imposed new sanctions on Russia over its war against Ukraine.
Around 700 vessels transporting Russian oil are currently under sanctions.
