A person with disability, Aminat Akinsola, on Saturday expressed happiness over what she called the special treatment given to her while trying to cast her vote in the ongoing governorship election in Osun State.
Ms Akinsola, who cast her vote at Ejigbo Ward 4, Unit 6, said she was excited by the special attention accorded to her because of her condition.
“I’m so happy because I was treated with respect while I was trying to cast my vote. I was even the first person to be accredited,” she said.
Ms Akinsola commended the peaceful process while expressing hope that the election’s outcome would reflect the general will of the state’s people.

Also, young adults were grouped by gender to ensure no disruption to the voting process.
