The deadline to receive applications for Telangana government’s Indiramma Houses in 16 Assembly constituencies in Hyderabad (CURE) region came to an end on Saturday (August 15, 2026). The lottery draws to select the beneficiaries for 7,340 flats would be held after August 20, after verifying the applications. Besides this, the Telangana Housing Board has invited applications for the 1,920 flats in four more Assembly constituencies

Till Saturday evening, 60,014 applications were received for the 7,340 affordable flats in 16 Assembly constituencies. Measures are being taken to begin construction of the houses in the first week of next month, said the Board’s Vice Chairman V.P. Gautham. Tenders for the works were invited.

List of four constituencies

The four more Assembly constituencies where the flats would be built are Amangal (Hayatnagar) in L.B. Nagar; Goshamahal; Jamistanpur in Musheerabad and Bandlaguda near Falaknuma in Chadrayangutta. People can start applying for the Indiramma Houses in the four constituencies from Sunday (August 16, 2026) till September 3, 2026, said Mr. Gautham.

Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy laid the foundation for construction of Indiramma Towers on Thursday (August 13, 2026). The flats would come up in stilt plus 10 storey towers. This is part of the government’s agenda to build one lakh affordable flats in Core Urban Region (CURE). As a pilot project, 480 flats would be built in each of the Assembly constituencies. The government will provide a subsidy of ₹5 lakh per flat, and each beneficiary has to contribute ₹6 lakh in installments. Each flat has a built up area of 528 sft, including a hall, bedroom and kitchen.
