Court documents reveal the criminal history of a man fatally shot by police as he carried a stolen air rifle while approaching Auckland’s Sylvia Park. RNZ national crime correspondent Sam Sherwood reports.

Shortly before wrapping up sentencing, Auckland District Court Judge Steve Bonnar, KC, addressed
