Police investigate Far North death

Police are making enquiries following a death in the Far North.

Emergency services were called to a property in Haruru around 4.30am Saturday, where a person was unresponsive.

They were pronounced dead a short time later.

A scene guard is currently in place, and enquiries are underway to determine the circumstances of the death.

The community can expect to see an increased police presence in the area.
