He said this on Facebook following a phone call with UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres, according to Ukrinform.
"Despite the Russian side spurning all proposals to sit down at the negotiating table, everything possible must be done to bring this war to an end. We agreed that the search for ways forward will continue and that the UN will contribute to this joint effort," Zelensky said.
The two discussed the threats posed by Russian strikes to global food security, as well as Russia's continued attacks on port infrastructure and vessels.
Zelensky said that the impact was already being felt in many countries in Africa, the Middle East and Asia, with prices beginning to rise.

Zelensky also briefed Guterres on Russia's ongoing attacks and the numerous civilian casualties.
"The UN Secretary-General condemned these massive Russian attacks on Kyiv and our other cities and communities," he said.
