One person is dead after a tour bus carrying the rock band Buckcherry crashed while on the road for their national tour.

At around 2 a.m. Friday morning, Buckcherry’s tour bus was in a multi-vehicle accident on a South Carolina highway.

“We are extremely grateful to report that all members of Buckcherry and our touring crew are safe and unharmed,” the band said in a statement on Facebook.

“Tragically, authorities have confirmed that the collision that occurred ahead of our bus resulted in a fatality. Our thoughts and deepest condolences are with the family and loved ones of the person who lost their life.”

The person who was killed in the crash has not been publicly identified.

Buckcherry’s scheduled performance Saturday in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, went on as planned.
