Air India flight plummets 300ft during severe turbulence
An Air India flight suddenly plummeted 300ft during severe turbulence, with more than a dozen people hurt.
Footage from inside the aircraft, which was flying from Phuket to Delhi, shows passengers panicking as an air stewardess frantically tells them to fasten their seatbelts.
The pilots then managed to regain control and safely landed at its destination in India at 11am local time on Tuesday (4 August).
According to the tracking platform Flightradar24, the plane lost altitude sometime before landing in the Indian capital.
